Virginia High School Soccer - Turner Ashby knocks off Waynesboro
March 20, 2023: Waynesboro, VA 22980 Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 21. Turner Ashby will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 6-2 league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA).
The Little Giants (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers come into the Valley battle with a 2-1 record.
