North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Laney Croatan

March 20, 2024: Newport, NC 28570

In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Croatan Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-9 victory over the Laney Buccaneers.

The Cougars now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Jacksonville for a non-league test on Friday, March 22. Croatan will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 11-4 league loss to J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.

In their next game, the Buccaneers face the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Thursday, March 21. Laney will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Scorpions come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 17-1 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC).
