March 20, 2024: Chatsworth, GA 30705 Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), 3-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Rebels confront the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a 2A Area 7 challenge, on Friday, March 22. Fannin County will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Model (Rome, GA).
The Indians now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host North Murray for a 2A Area 7 challenge on Monday, March 25. Murray County will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-7.
