March 20, 2024: Astoria, OR 97103 The Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR) softball routed the visiting Banks Braves (Banks, OR), 8-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Fishermen (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against The Dalles (The Dalles, OR). The Riverhawks go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, The Dalles was routed by Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR), 4-2, in a non-league bout.
The Braves now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Scio for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 21. Banks will confront a Loggers squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR). The Loggers record now stands at 3-0.
