March 20, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70117 The Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Kennedy Cougars to 5 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Frederick A. Douglass moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Bobcats host Cabrini (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Crescents in a 4A District 11 game on Thursday, March 21. The Crescents come into the game with a record of 3-8. Cabrini won 12-2 in their recent league game against Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA)
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Avondale, LA) in a 3A District 9 game, on Friday, March 22. Kennedy will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 9-2 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA).
