The Notre Dame Prep Saints baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Chaparral Firebirds to 3 in the Saints league win on Thursday.

The Saints now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon for a 5A East Sky test on Tuesday, March 25. Notre Dame Prep will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 10-7 league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, Chaparral drops to 6-6 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Centennial (Peoria, AZ) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league test on Monday, March 24. The Coyotes go into the test with a record of 5-7. Centennial won 17-0 in their recent non-league test against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)
