El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Monache Marauders (Porterville, CA), 6-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, El Diamante advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Miners travel to Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA) to confront the Pioneers in a East Yosemite contest on Tuesday, March 25. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 3-7. Mt. Whitney lost 4-0 in their recent non-league contest against Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA)

The Marauders now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lindsay for a non-league contest on Friday, March 21.
