California High School Baseball - La Costa Canyon edges San Pasqual
March 20, 2025: Escondido, CA 92025 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) and the host San Pasqual Golden Eagles (Escondido, CA), saw La Costa Canyon's baseball team knock off San Pasqual by a count of 6-4.
The Mavericks now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Camino for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. La Costa Canyon will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, San Pasqual drops to 4-1 on the year. The Golden eagles host Poway (Poway, CA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Poway lost 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA)
