In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Porter Ridge Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Union Academy Cardinals.

The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
