March 20, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35242 Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bayside Academy Admirals (Daphne, AL), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Briarwood Christian moves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 9-5. Hewitt-Trussville lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)
The Admirals now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altamont for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Bayside Academy will clash with a Knights team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Knights record now stands at 4-8.
