Georgia High School Soccer - Carrollton knocks off Columbus
March 20, 2025: Columbus, GA 31906 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) and the host Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA), saw Carrollton's soccer squad prevail over Columbus by a count of 4-0.
The Trojans (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Chapel Hill tipped Westlake (Atlanta, GA), 5-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Jordan Red Jackets (Columbus, GA) in a 2A Area 1 battle, on Wednesday, March 26. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Red Jackets enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 7-5 league win over Sumter County (Americus, GA).
