Georgia High School Soccer - Langston Hughes toppled by Northgate
March 20, 2025: Fairburn, GA 30213 Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA), 10-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Northgate moves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Morrow (Morrow, GA) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A Area 3 test on Thursday, March 27. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 9-1. Morrow won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against McDonough (McDonough, GA)
The Panthers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to McIntosh for a 5A Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 25. Langston Hughes will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Forest Park (Forest Park, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 13-1.
