In Thursday's league battle, the Brentwood Bruins (Brentwood, TN) softball team tipped the visiting Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN), by a final score of 3-2.

The Bruins now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ravenwood for a 4A District 10 battle on Friday, March 21. Brentwood will confront a Raptors team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Nolensville (Nolensville, TN). The Raptors record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Independence moves to 4-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lawson (Nashville, TN) to confront the Lightning in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. The Lightning come into the battle with a record of 1-3.
