Arizona High School Softball - Cesar Chavez drops to Kofa
March 20, 2025: Yuma, AZ 85364 Kofa Kings (Yuma, AZ) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ), 18-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Kofa improves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Kings host Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 10-4. Sunnyside won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)
The Champions now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league game on Monday, March 24. Cesar Chavez will play a Lions squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 5-5.
