The McDaniel Mountain Lions softball squad (Portland, OR), was routed 8-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR)

With the triumph, Oregon City improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Barlow (Gresham, OR) to face the Bruins in a non-league contest on Monday, March 24. The Bruins enter the contest with a record of 2-0.

The Mountain Lions now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Mountainside for a non-league contest on Friday, March 21. McDaniel will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to McNary (Keizer, OR). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-1.
