In Friday's league test, the Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX), by a tally of 9-1.

Coming up next, the Cowboys encounter the Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 outing, on Tuesday, March 24. Cotulla will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 9-11 record after their 9-5 league loss to Crystal City (Crystal City, TX).
