North Carolina High School Softball - Laney bounces New Bern
March 21, 2022: New Bern, NC 28562 Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Buccaneers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Topsail for a challenge on Tuesday, April 5.
With the loss, New Bern falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 30. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Croatan won 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against New Bern (New Bern, NC)
