March 21, 2023: Lenoir City, TN 37771 Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Maryville Red Rebels (Maryville, TN) in a 3A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 23. Lenoir City will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Red Rebels enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Sevier County (Sevierville, TN).
The Mavericks now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host William Blount for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23. Anderson County will confront a Governors team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Greenback (Greenback, TN). The Governors record now stands at 1-0.
