Illinois High School Softball - Barrington bounces Glenbrook North
March 21, 2023: Barrington, IL 60010 Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Fillies/Broncos now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Antioch for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 22. Barrington will battle a Sequoits squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Sequoits record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Glenbrook North falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
