March 21, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63141 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) and the host De Smet Jesuit Spartans (St. Louis, MO), saw Belleville West's baseball squad edge De Smet Jesuit by a count of 3-2.
Coming up next, the Maroons play the Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 25. Belleville West will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL).
The Spartans now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eureka for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 23.
