The Mead Mavericks baseball team (Longmont, CO), was tipped 6-5 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO)

The Silver Knights now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pueblo County for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 27. Severance will face a Hornets team coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Falcon (Falcon, CO). The Hornets record now stands at 3-1.

Next, the Mavericks face the Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO) in a 4A/5A NCAC outing, on Saturday, March 23. Mead will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).
