March 21, 2024: Bancroft, NE Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Thurston-Cuming County (Bancroft, NE), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Wayne upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Central City/Centura (Central City, NE) to battle the Kernels in a non-league test on Monday, March 25. The Kernels come into the test with a record of 1-2. Central City/Centura lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Guardian Angels Central Catholic/West Point Beemer (Scribner, NE)
