California High School Softball - Laguna Creek bounces Union Mine
March 21, 2024: El Dorado, CA 95623 Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. Laguna Creek will battle a Troubadours squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Capital Christian (Sacramento, CA). The Troubadours record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Union Mine falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Diamondbacks travel to Rosemont (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Wolverine in a challenge on Wednesday, April 3. The Wolverine enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Rosemont lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA)
