North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Cannon overwhelms Charlotte Country Day School
March 21, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 The Cannon Cougars lacrosse team scored 14 points and limited the visiting Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers to 3 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Roswell was overwhelmed by Walton (Marietta, GA), 12-5, in a non-league test.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 23. Charlotte Country Day School will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 19-12 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
