March 21, 2024: Memphis, TN 38114 Overton Wolverines (Memphis, TN) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Melrose Golden Wildcats (Memphis, TN), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the Bolton Wildcats (Arlington, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 25. Overton will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Memphis Rise Academy (Memphis, TN).
The Golden Wildcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kirby for a AA District 16 challenge on Friday, March 22. Melrose will confront a Cougars team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Germantown (Germantown, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
