March 21, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70117 Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats (New Orleans, LA), 15-0 in a league challenge.
The Crescents now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. Cabrini will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Frederick A. Douglass falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Rams in a 4A District 11 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
