March 21, 2025: Tunnel Hill, GA 30755 The Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) baseball got by the visiting Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA), 5-4 in Friday's league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Gilmer for a AAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Northwest Whitfield will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 7-3 league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-10.
With the defeat, Calhoun drops to 9-10 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Model (Rome, GA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 19-0.
