March 21, 2025: Ottawa, IL 61350 In Friday's non-league bout, the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), by a tally of 11-1.
Next up, the Crusaders encounter the Galena Pirates (Galena, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 22. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 16-6 non-league win over River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL).
The Cogs (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL). The Boilermakers enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Kewanee was overwhelmed by St. Bede (Peru, IL), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
