North Carolina High School Baseball - Providence wallops Hopewell
March 21, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078 The Providence Panthers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Hopewell Titans to 4 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.
The Panthers now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a Southwestern 4A test on Tuesday, March 25. Providence will play a Patriots team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Hopewell drops to 6-3 on the year. The Titans travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to play the Lions in a Queen City 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 25. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-6. West Charlotte lost 14-1 in their recent league test against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
