Louisiana High School Baseball - Willow loses to Houma Christian
March 21, 2025: Houma, LA 70360 Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA), 10-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Houma Christian advances its record to 12-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Westminster Christian Academy (Opelousas, LA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. The Crusaders come into the match with a record of 6-9. Westminster Christian Academy lost 13-0 in their recent non-league match against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA)
The Lions now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a 4A District 9 match on Tuesday, March 25. Willow will battle a Swamp Owls squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 9-9.
