L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA), 13-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, L.W. Higgins advances its record to 12-4 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA) to battle the Lions in a non-league match on Monday, March 24. The Lions come into the match with a record of 23-0. Covenant Christian Academy won 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Bourgeois (Gray, LA)

The Patriots now have a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles Catholic for a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. John Ehret will battle a Comets squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Comets record now stands at 11-9.
