March 21, 2025: Benson, NC 27504 The West Johnston Wildcats smashed the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans soccer team by a tally of 10-1 in Friday's league game.
Next, the Wildcats face the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A game, on Monday, March 24. West Johnston will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Fike (Wilson, NC).
The Spartans (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC). The Saints enter the Quad County 3A game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Southern Wayne was overwhelmed by South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
