The University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) baseball trounced the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 20-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Centurions now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Valhalla for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. University City will clash with a Norsemen team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Steele Canyon drops to 5-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Christian (El Cajon, CA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Christian won 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Santana (Santee, CA)
