The McDowell Titans softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Enka Jets to 1 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.

The Titans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Erwin for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 26. McDowell will confront a Warriors team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Enka moves to 4-1 on the season. The Jets travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 3. The Mountaineers come into the battle with a record of 2-0.
