Mississippi High School Softball - Cleveland Central can't get by Meridian
March 21, 2025: Cleveland, MS 38732 Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS), 13-12 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Meridian upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS) to play the War Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, March 22. The War Eagles enter the game with a record of 3-10. Wayne County lost 5-0 in their recent league game against East Central (Moss Point, MS)
The Wolves now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grenada for a non-league game on Monday, March 24. Cleveland Central will play a Chargers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Southaven (Southaven, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 8-6.
