The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) and the host Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA), observed Western Hills's softball team prevail over Fairview by a tally of 14-3.

The Wolverines (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY). The Bruins go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Central Hardin knocked off North Hardin (Radcliff, KY), 15-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Fairview moves to 0-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY) to encounter the Green Waves in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 22. The Green Waves come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Meade County won 11-1 in their recent non-league outing against Ballard (Louisville, KY)
