The Schurr Spartans the visiting Hillcrest Trojans softball squad by a count of 7-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Bell Gardens Lancers (Bell Gardens, CA) in a Almont challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Schurr will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 21-0 league win over San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA).

The Trojans (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, El Segundo edged Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA), 7-4, in a non-league challenge.
