Louisiana High School Softball - Kaplan bounces West Ouachita
March 21, 2025: West Monroe, LA 71292 The Kaplan Pirates softball team scored 5 runs and held the host West Ouachita Chiefs to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Iberia for a non-league battle on Monday, March 24. Kaplan will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, West Ouachita moves to 11-11 on the season. The Chiefs host Live Oak (Watson, LA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 9-8. Live Oak won 8-7 in their recent league battle against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA)
