The Sabino Sabercats triumphed over the visiting Northwest Christian Crusaders softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Sabercats meet the Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Sabino will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record.

The Crusaders (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights enter the 3A Metro challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Gilbert Christian was routed by Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ), 20-15, in a league challenge.
