In Friday's non-league match, the host Pajaro Valley Grizzlies softball team scored a nice 26-9 victory over the St. Francis Sharks.

The Grizzlies (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Greenfield (Greenfield, CA). The Bruins go into the PCAL - Cypress match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Greenfield was routed by Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA), 24-0, in a non-league match.
