In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Poston Butte Broncos softball team scored a tight 12-6 win over the Thatcher Eagles.

The Broncos (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans come into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Thunderbird nipped Browne (Phoenix, AZ), 5-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a 3A South match, on Tuesday, March 25. Thatcher will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record.
