Louisiana High School Softball - St. Amant sneaks past Quitman
March 21, 2025: St. Amant, LA 70774 The St. Amant Gators softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Quitman Wolverines to 1 in the Gators non-league win on Friday.
The Gators now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulphur for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. St. Amant will confront a Golden Tors team coming off a 10-0 league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Golden Tors record now stands at 8-9.
With the loss, Quitman moves to 14-2 on the season. The Wolverines travel to South Beauregard (Longville, LA) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 8-6. South Beauregard lost 6-5 in their recent league battle against St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA)
