The Hobbs Eagles baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Cathedral Fighting Irish to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 24. Hobbs will play a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Rose of Sharon (El Paso, TX). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Cathedral falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Fighting irish host Clint (Clint, TX) to encounter the Lions in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 24. The Lions enter the outing with a record of 8-9. Clint lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Gadsden (Anthony, NM)
