The Lyons Lions softball team scored 28 runs and held the visiting Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to 9 in the Lions non-league win on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leyden for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 7.

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record.
