Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Diboll upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Center (Center, TX) to battle the Roughriders in a non-league test on Saturday, March 26. The Roughriders come into the test with a record of 5-11. Center lost 17-1 in their recent non-league test against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX)

With the defeat, Hudson falls to 14-5 on the season. The Hornets host Carthage (Carthage, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, March 29. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-3.
