March 22, 2023: Lafayette, CA 94549 The El Cerrito Gauchos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Bentley Phoenix to 0 in the Gauchos non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Gauchos now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pittsburg for a non-league game on Thursday, March 23. El Cerrito will meet a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-4.
The Phoenix (3-2) will now prepare for their game against St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA). The Pilots enter the game with a 2-4 record.
