In Wednesday's non-league test, the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-8 victory over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.

The Yellow Jackets now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brentsville District for a non-league test on Monday, March 27. James Monroe will face a Tigers squad coming off a 24-1 league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
