Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA), 13-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mount Union upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Trojans host Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA) to battle the Panthers in a Inter-County - East test on Monday, March 25. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Northern Bedford County won 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA)

With the defeat, Chestnut Ridge falls to 0-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA) to battle the Crushers in a Laurel Highlands West test on Monday, March 25. The Crushers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Bishop McCort won 15-0 in their recent league test against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA)
