March 22, 2024: Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442 The Jefferson County Wild lacrosse squad (Shenandoah Junction, WV), was overwhelmed 14-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rockingham MudDogs (Weyers Cave, VA)
Coming up next, the MudDogs meet the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 2. Rockingham will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 18-7 league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA).
The Wild now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mercersburg Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, March 23. Jefferson County will face a Blue Storm squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV). The Blue Storm record now stands at 0-1.
