March 22, 2024: Germantown, TN 38139 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN) and the visiting Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN), saw Houston's soccer squad knock off Cookeville by a margin of 3-1.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Gibson for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 23. Houston will play a Tigers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Davidson (Mobile, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Wilson Central Wildcats (Lebanon, TN) in a AAA District 7 outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Cookeville will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 0-4 record after their 5-2 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, TN).
